We are stronger together.

16 July 2021

Our patients, families and staff have been on an amazing journey over the last few weeks with the achievements of the England football team in the European Championships. We would like to say how proud we are for what they have achieved both on and off the pitch.

Racism, discrimination and harassment has no place in our workplaces and communities. We stand together to tackle and eliminate racism within our organisations and communities, valuing and embracing diversity.

As the NHS across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight we will challenge and do all we can to prevent racist behaviour and discrimination of all kinds to our staff and people using our services. It is not acceptable and we believe, as a public body, we have a vital role in educating and modelling inclusive services.

Great teams win together and support each other when they lose together. Together we are stronger.
